Meet

Hello, I'm Neşe Arslan. I care about understanding children's developmental journey up close, seeing the world through their eyes and offering parents reliable information along the way.

Experience

My child development education began in high school, with four years of study in this field at Hikmet Nazif Kurşunoğlu. In 2018 I graduated from the Child Development Program of the Open and Distance Education Faculty at Istanbul University. During an internship at the kindergarten of Bağcılar Vocational High School in my high school years, I communicated directly with children and closely followed the classroom and everyday developmental processes. Today I am continuing my studies in Social Work.

I see cognitive, social, emotional, language and motor development as a whole. Every child moves at their own pace, so instead of comparing children with one another, I value supporting them according to their age, individual traits and interests. Encouraging curiosity, making room for learning through play, helping children express their feelings and creating an environment where they feel safe are among the most valuable parts of development.

Role at Lumiya

At Lumiya, I aim to share information that supports children's development and sheds light on what parents face in daily life in a way that is clear, reliable and practical. “When the right information is shared at the right time and in the right way, it can make a valuable contribution to the developmental journey of both the child and the family.”
